The prosperity of the EU is based on the economic success of the single European market. A functioning internal market requires an efficient transport system with a reliable cross-border infrastructure. The use of the specific strengths of all modes of transport is of great importance here. The BDI calls on the EU institutions to shape the future of EU transport policy in balance with economic, social and ecological interests.
