German industry appreciates the ITRE Committee’s draft report on the NIS 2 Directive. It contains several very important amendments to the EU Commission’s legislative proposal that will ensure companies across the EU are encouraged to enhance their cyber-resilience while not being overburdened with regulatory requirements. BDI’s policy paper discusses the proposed amendments and outlines where further amendments are required from industry’s perspective.
