Real growth of nearly 2 percent is still attainable. The outlook for the German economy remains robust this year. Global economy gets off to a weaker start to the year than expected. Over the course of the year, investment activity in many segments is expected to pick up slightly. Most indicators point towards higher levels of economic activity as the year progresses. It remains to be seen how companies will adjust to the uncertainties over Greece and the new opportunities in Iran.
