The world economy is set to grow at a historically low level of 2.9 percent yet again in 2024. The EU is expected to grow around 0.8 percent, largely on the back of recovering purchasing power of private households. Germany’s economy will grow only marginally. The sluggish international environment and fiscal adjustment will weigh on growth.
