The EU has launched ambitious initiatives to foster prosperity and sustainable growth with partners across the globe. However, multiple other players pursue similar ambitions. This increases competition, but also opens a window of opportunity for Europe to stand out as a partner on eye-level. Mutually beneficial partnerships may prove to be the unique European strategy to navigate the difficult geoeconomic environment and to enable the transition to climate-neutral value-creation. How can Europe bring this initiative to fruition, and which benefits loom at the horizon for Europe and its partners?
