The TDI is the flagship event for economic policy in Germany and addresses major debates on global trade and multinational cooperation with many international guests. The TDI is hosted annually by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the umbrella organization of German industry and industry-related service providers. The event marks an annual milestone for decision-makers, opinion leaders and innovators and attended by many CEOs of major German companies.
The #TDI25 will take place on June 23 and 24, 2025 at the EUREF-Campus in Berlin.
With a new federal government, a new European Commission, and a second Trump administration, 2025 is set to be a year of disruption, change, and new beginnings. Many certainties from the past are no longer relevant today: Europe’s economic engine no longer beats in sync with the global economy. The transatlantic alliance is based less on shared values and more on unstable deals. Former trading partners have turned into rivals.
For Europe’s future, only Europe itself can advocate. A new realism urges a return to our strengths and the power of the European community. In challenging international waters, it must be possible to get Germany back on track for success. The new federal government must lay the foundation for the urgently needed renovation of Germany as a place of the future and for the return to the self-confidence of a European force of influence.
What does a new, decisive agenda for growth look like? Can we succeed in unleashing the innovative power of companies? What role will Germany play in future Europe — and what is the state of Europe’s sovereignty in a world of competition and geopolitical tensions?
Be there as key decision-makers discuss these questions, and mark your calendars for #TDI25 now!
