The Ministerial Conference, taking place from 10-13 December 2017 in Buenos Aires, is the most important decision making body of the World Trade Organization (WTO). At this gathering, the 164 members need to agree on a road map on how to develop the multilateral trading system according to the needs of modern business. The BDI calls for progress especially on digital trade, transparency rules and a competition framework.
