Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most important key technologies in the industry. Unbureaucratic and innovation-friendly framework conditions for the use of AI are a key prerequisite for securing the innovative capacity and competitiveness of the European industry in the long term. Therefore, the BDI welcomes that the IMCO/LIBE draft report includes numerous amendments that aim in a right direction. Nevertheless, we also see the need for significant changes that are outlined in detail in our comments.
