The German industry presents a proposal for discussion to fill out the horizontal approach called for in the Standardisation Strategy as well as clear criteria and procedures for the use of common specifications. Legally secure framework conditions must be formulated for a uniform understanding of this. The transparency and inclusiveness of the public-private partnership dynamic inherent in the European Standardisation System is the mainstay of the European Union's economic success and must be continued in the future.
