Italy has instituted far-reaching reforms in the last few years. These include an economic policy reform and the restructuring of public administration and political institutions. Despite these promising developments, implementation is still proving problematic. However, positive economic signs have been increasing since the beginning of 2015: The Italian economy looks set to return to growth this year.
