Global Growth Outlook 07/2021: Upturn – Bottlenecks – Inflation

Global trade is set to expand by a marginally higher five percent, while the global economy is growing at a good four percent this year and remains on course for catch-up growth. The pandemic is still causing disruptions albeit on a slightly smaller scale. Also bottlenecks in supplies will continue to plague many segments in the first six months of the year at least before easing up gradually.
