Global growth remains restrained

Global economy set to remain weak with a lean 3.2 percent growth expected for 2024. Consumption is ahead of investment on the road to recovery. Prospects for the United States still much more robust than expected. The US economy should grow by 2.5 percent. Recovery in the euro area sluggish with growth heading for a meagre 0.8 percent. Consumption spending and net exports should pick up.
