The BDI welcomes the transition from a directive to a regulation for the European internal market. EU-wide harmonised uniform packaging law requirements are the basis for the urgently needed planning security for companies to invest in sustainable packaging design, circular infrastructure and to ensure a high level of ecological protection throughout the European Union.
