The negotiations on the European AI Regulation ("AI Act") are in the decisive phase with the trilogue. We have evaluated key industry-relevant articles of the AI Act in a compact preference paper. In the paper, the BDI identifies and justifies which of the three proposed texts of the European Commission, the European Council or the European Parliament is most compatible with a legal framework for artificial intelligence that is both open to innovation and practical.
