With the Climate Protection Act 2021, the German government has once again significantly tightened its previously set climate protection targets and thus announced an ambitious German contribution to limiting the effects of climate change. The study "Climate Pathways 2.0" presents a proposal for a program that would enable all sectors to achieve their climate protection targets in 2030 and set the key course toward greenhouse gas neutrality in 2045. More than 150 experts from BCG, the BDI and around 80 companies and associations were involved.
